Week 4

I feel like I say this in every blog, but this past week has flown by. Friday, I was able to get lunch with one of my friends I went to high school with, Ethan, and his mom Wendy. We ate lunch at the picnic table between Lehr and Dukes and after Ethan went to class me and Wendy sat and talked. It was nice to see both of them and it gave me a chance to pause and enjoy their company.

Then over the weekend I had some shopping to do. Sadly, I didn't get to buy anything fun, just some toiletries and pants. However, I did get some things I've been needing for my room off of Amazon which came on Wednesday. I may have also indulged and gotten a new water bottle but in my defense, I had been looking to get a new one for a while.

Also over the weekend, Evan and I were able to sit down with my family, eat dinner and play a game of Catan. Over the summer we got in the habit of doing this every weekend, but with school being so busy it became difficult to maintain. With this being the case, being able to sit down and spend time with my family made everything feel less stressful.

Unfortunately, Monday snapped me back into reality as I focus on meetings, events and assignments. I was finally able to meet with my client and we were able to talk more in depth about what they expected from our partnership, and we were even able to come up with some deliverables. Tuesday, I bought plane tickets for ICON and that was not a fun purchase. I will definitely be staying away from any retail therapy after that hit to my wallet. Yesterday, the World Student Organization had their first meeting and there ended up being a great turnout. Otherwise, it's just a matter of finishing up this week and I am looking forward to a nice relaxing weekend.
